If you bought the domain from another provider and want to transfer it to Flazio, you must request from the provider a transfer code, called Authcode, which identifies the domain and allows you to authorize the migration from one provider to another.
The transfer code is provided, by law, by the provider, who cannot refuse to release it, unless there are outstanding debts or different agreements exist between the parties.
This way you have the option to migrate the domain to other services, while keeping the same name.
Usually the authcode can be retrieved from your registration panel, or you can request—via a button, always from the panel—the sending of an email with the migration code.
Providers such as GoDaddy, Aruba, Register, Ovh and many others, release the transfer code freely, giving the user the ability to obtain it at any time by logging into their account and going to the domain tab.
Once you have the transfer code, just look for the new provider you want to use and follow the steps to register the domain.
By entering your domain on Flazio, the system will detect that it is already taken; you will have to declare that you are the owner, enter the transfer code, and thus complete the registration procedure.
Transfer times can range from a minimum of 3 days up to 8 days, during which the two providers will communicate to start the migration procedure
Always remember to perform an email backup to avoid losing correspondence.
If you want to activate the PRO Account but don’t want to transfer your domain, you can select the DNS Service option when purchasing the account.
To complete the purchase with DNS Service, you will need to:
Log in to your account or sign up on our platform;
Click Save or Activate Pro on the right to upgrade to PRO;
Enter your card details and then your personal details for the PRO account registration;
Choose the domain, which will already be taken, and click “I am the owner of this domain”;
Click DNS Service;
Proceed with the purchase.
After completing the purchase, you will receive an email with all the DNS records to set in the DNS Configuration panel on your current provider.
